Прийменники часу:
in - вживається:
а) перед назвами місяців: e.g. in September, in July
б) -"- пори року: e.g. in summer, in winter
в) при вказуванні частини дня: e.g. in the morning, in the evening,
in the afternoon Але: at night
г) перед вказуванням року: e.g. in 1990, in 1956
д) у значенні через якийсь час:
e.g. in 2 days, in 10 minutes, in some years
on – вживається із назвами днів тижня та зі словом day : e.g. on Monday, on Friday
at – вживається перед зазначенням часу: e.g. at 3 o'clock, at 6 p.m.
during – під час: e.g. during the meeting, during the war
for – протягом: e.g. for 5 years, for a week, for 10 minutes
before – перед: e.g. before breakfast
after - після: e.g. after lessons
from ... to (till) - з ... до: e.g. from morning to (till) night
by – до якогось часу: e.g. by 3 o'clock
since – з якою-небудь часу: e.g. since I was 5.
while – поки, в той час, як: e.g. while I was sleeping.
Перед наступними сполученнями прийменники не вживаються
