The infinitive of purpose.



· to + infinitive is used to express purpose or we can use the to + infinitive to give

the reason why something is done.

eg: I went to London to study English.

We can discuss this question today not to discuss it tomorrow.

· We also use going to when we can see now that something is sure to happen in the future.

eg: It’s going to rain.

eg: I’m going to sneeze.
