Задание 3. ГЛАГОЛ ВРЕМЕНА ГРУППЫ CONTINUOUS
Группа Continuous имеет три времени: Настоящее продолженное (Present Continuous), Прошедшее (Past Continuous), Будущее (Future Continuous)
Времена группы Continuous обозначают действия, которые протекают (протекали, будут протекать) в точно указанное время – настоящее, прошедшее и будущее. Дополнительными характеристиками таких действий является их незаконченность, динамичность, наглядность.
Present Continuous (Настоящее продолженное) образуется с помощью вспомогательного глагола to be в настоящем времени и 4-й основной формы глагола.

Present Continuous (Настоящее продолженное) употребляется в следующих случаях:
1. Для выражения действия, события, протекающего в настоящий момент времени или в момент речи. Показывает то, что действие, совершающееся в настоящий момент, началось до этого момента и будет продолжаться после него. Указание на время типа now (сейчас), at the moment (в данный момент) может быть либо выражено, либо подразумеваться.
She is answering (at this moment). Она отвечает (в настоящий момент).
2. Для выражения будущего действия, когда налицо намерение совершить действие или уверенность в его совершении. В этом случае на будущее указывает наречие: soon (скоро), tomorrow (завтра), next week (на следующей недели).

Liza is arriving in Moscow soon. Лиза скоро прибывает в Москву.
Present Continuous (Настоящее продолженное) не употребляется c глаголами состояния:
To love (любить); to think (думать); to want (хотеть); to live (жить); to be (быть, находиться); to feel (чувствовать); to see (видеть); to know (знать); to remember (помнить); to hear (слышать); to stay (оставаться);
Past Continuous (Прошедшее продолженное) образуется с помощью вспомогательного глагола to be в прошедшем времени и 4-й основной формой глагола.

Past Continuous (Прошедшее продолженное) употребляется в следующих случаях:
1. Для выражения действия, протекавшего (длившегося) в определенный момент в прошлом, который обозначен либо обстоятельством времени, либо другим действием в прошлом.
You were reading a book at 5 o’clock. You were reading a book when they came.
2. Для выражения длительного действия, протекавшего в определенный период времени в прошлом (from five to six, all day long, the whole day yesterday) I was writing letters the whole day yesterday.

3. Past Continuous может использоваться для выражения одновременных действий, протекавших в прошлом в один и тот же момент.
The children were playing in the yard while their mother was watching TV.
Future Continuous (Будущее продолженное) выражает будущее действие в процессе его совершения, незаконченное длительное действие. Образуется с помощью вспомогательного глагола to be в будущем времени и 4-й основной формой глагола.

Future Continuous (Будущее продолженное) употребляется:
1. Для выражения длительного действия, которое начнется до определенного момента в будущем и все еще будет продолжаться, длиться в этот момент. На это может указывать обстоятельство времени ( at that moment , at six o ’ clock , at midnight )
At seven o’clock tomorrow she will be having exam.
2. Для выражения длительного действия, которое будет совершаться в определенный период времени в будущем.

Don’t call my friend tonight between 7 and 11. She will be wring a letter.
3. Для выражения намерения совершить действие в будущем или уверенность в его совершении.
I shall be reading tonight. She will be visiting me tomorrow.
Упражнение 1. Поставьте глагол в форму Present Continuous.

Упражнение 2. Дополните предложения следующими глаголами, поставив их в правильную форму Present Continuous : increase , improve , fall , change , rise , become , get .
1. The environmental situation is already terrible and it ……………………… worse.
