7.1. The Organizing Committee directs the preparation and holding of the International competition.

7.2. The Organizing Committee:

· accepts and processes applications from team coaches;

· organizes advisory and methodological support for the International competition;

· forms the judging Committee of the International competition according to the directions;

· reserves the right to publish on the official website - https://birskum.wixsite.com/umnicumbirsk results of the International competition;

· ensures that the rights of participants of the International competition are respected.

7.3. The organizers of the International competition reserve the right to change the date and time of the event.

Description of the directions of The International competition «Histories of the world».

 

Artistic direction».

 

The team makes(assembles) and programs robots (one or more) that show an artistic performance in one of the following categories:

- «Dance performance»;

- «Song performance»;

- «Fairy tale»;

- «Historical story»;

- «Fantasy»;

- «Lego-animation»;

- «Lego-movie».

The number of categories  can be added during the International competition by the decision of the judges.

The art number should reflect the culture and traditions of the family and/or the country of the participants of the International competition.

The team members can act as individual characters while creating a number. The robots must be voiced (if it necessary) by the team members.

Any materials can be used to create decorations.

The following constructors are used to create the robots: Lego WeDo 1.0 or 2.0, Lego Mindstorms EV3/NXT, and Arduino. Robots should not be built using ready-made instructions or from ready-made sets.

To participate in this direction of the team provides the following materials for the project:

· Video with an artistic number (no more than 5 minutes long);

· Engineering book (in electronic form);

· Project poster (in electronic form).

The engineering book contains:

· Information about the team members and the coaches (Photo, last name, date of birth, and role in the team);

· Description of the robots (photos, description of constructors from which robots are built, design features of the robots, software features, program code, creation process, etc.);

· Summary of the number (lyrics, fairy tales, performances, etc.);

· Importance of the nomination for the team members.

The project poster contains:

· Information about the project (the main theses);

· Photos of the robots participating in the project;

· Information about the team members (photo, last name and first name);

Requirements for the poster project:

· A3 Format;

· Landscape layout (for display on the screen);

The judges evaluate the team's project according to the following parameters:

· The complexity of the design of the robots;

· Project design;

· Participation of all team members in the project (acting as characters, voicing robots, etc.);

· Complexity of the robot program;

· Disclosure of the peculiarities of the culture and traditions of your country in the project;

Each item is rated on a 10-point scale. The maximum score for a project is 50 points.

The «Lego-animation» category is evaluated according to the following parameters:

· Complexity of the robot design in the project;

· Direction of the cartoon (integrity, logic, clarity and elaboration of the idea).

· Design and quality of the project;

· Participation of all team members in the project (creation of scenery, voice-over of characters, etc.);

· Disclosure of the peculiarities of the culture and traditions of your country in the project;

Important! Robot programming is not evaluated in «Lego-animation» category.

Each item is rated on a 10-point scale. The maximum score for a project is 50 points.
