Sometimes you should change your life completely to be happy (to choose, boring, relax, wonderful, challenge, to encourage, suffer from)

Our life is full of everyday challenges and pleasant moments. Some people tend to ‘sleep on a problem’ while others get up early in the mornings and do what they’ve planned to do to succeed. Sometimes we need to change something in our life to be happy, so in this essay I’m going to describe some examples and types of ‘complete’ changing.

There is a famous English proverb: ‘There is no such thing as a free lunch’ and it has a deep meaning. People were born to study and work in order to chase their dreams. For instance, an ambitious child who cordially wants to become a fireguard, policeman or a pilot would do anything to succeed, We can’t waste our time on just laying about and doing nothing to improve ourselves. A great example of this could be a man who won the lottery in 2006, Tony Bryan. Even after having a large amount of money, he kept on working and bought a house with a lot of land. Tony started his own business with the help of that lottery, but he did not lose his mind as many people do. He managed to change his life to a better one. Everyone can choose and change himself differently. Even if you are too lazy or self-contained, for example, you always have an opportunity to change your lifestyle by working or communicating with people surrounding you. People with unhealthy habits like smoking or drinking are also able to improve themselves. It’s your life and such a serious decision like changing something in yourself is always up to you.

To conclude I’d like to emphasize a saying of Steve Olsher, author of the best-seller called ‘Discover the One Amazing Thing You were Born to Do’: ‘Change is doable, no matter what. You must be determined to make a change’. I totally agree with this, because your life is in your hands, so the one and only person who can decree your destiny is You.

Travelling around the city (adventure, public transport, rush hour, seat belt, a mobile, traffic jam, fine, pedestrian zones)

It’s been a few months since I moved to Astana. Being a student, everyday I face the same problem every morning and evening: a traffic jam. In order to be present at lessons in time I have to get up very early in the morning. Usually I take a bus to get to the university, but sometimes I get there by car. Honestly speaking, it’s much quicker to get to the point of destination by using common public transport than a car. I noticed that people in Astana do not welcome public transport and prefer their own vehicles. And as a result it causes very difficult traffic situation in the city, especially during the rush hours. The weather conditions also don’t make life of the citizens easier: rain, snow, glaze, wind, fog, etc. As citizens, I think we should really consider using public transport as often as possible, especially young generation. Statistically, most of the families have more than one car in their garage, so it is clear that increase of cars is rising up every year. As a result this causes increases of car accidents and pedestrian deaths, especially children.

I believe that it’s crucial for our capital to come up with a clear plan for development and adaption of public transport through masses. Considering the fact that the 2017 Astana is the host of EXPO, I would be very proud to introduce our guests to well organized, modern and sufficient transportation. Our community should make efforts in development the public transport simply by using it.

7. Common stereotypes about men and women (stereotype, in fact, expect, relationships, solve problems, talkative, reason, to tend)

Nowadays, there are lots of stereotypes about men and women. Now I want tell abou them.

Personality Traits: Women are supposed to be shy, passive and submissive. Women are organized and clean. Men are expected to be tough, aggressive, dominant and self-confident. Men are lazy and messy.

Domestic Behaviors: Women are supposed to cook and do housework. Women are better at raising children. Stay-at-home mothers are better than working mothers. On the other hand: Men are better at household repairs. Men cannot cook, sew or care for their children. Men always tell their wives what to do.

Occupations: Women are supposed to have “clean” jobs such as teachers, nurses, secretaries and librarians. Women are not good at math. Women are supposed to make less money than men.Women are not politicians. Women cannot be presidential candidates. On the other hand: Men are supposed to have “dirty jobs” like mechanics, construction workers, plumbers and engineering. Men are all good at math. Men are better doctors. Men are supposed to be in charge at work and should make more money than women. Men are better politicians.

To conclude I can easily say that not all stereotypes are true and we should not believe to them. Because that stereotypes are thought up by people.
